Data we collect

When you buy: email address, name, country and billing details sent through Stripe. Card details are processed by Stripe only.

When you download: order ID, date and number of downloads, to secure access to the ebook.

Advertising measurement: if you accept cookies, the Meta pixel collects browsing data (see the cookie policy).

Purposes and legal bases

Completing the sale and delivering the ebook (performance of the contract). Answering your requests (legitimate interest). Meeting our accounting obligations (legal obligation). Measuring the performance of our ads, including sending a hashed email to Meta after a purchase (consent).

Recipients

Stripe (payment), Netlify (hosting), Brevo (sending emails), Meta Platforms (advertising measurement, only with your consent). These providers may process data outside the European Union, in particular in the United States and the United Arab Emirates, with appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

Retention

Order data: for the legal accounting retention period. Download data: 12 months. Cookie consent: 13 months maximum.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct, erase, restrict or port your data, or object to its processing, by writing to yachtclubacademy@gmail.com. You can withdraw your cookie consent at any time. You can also lodge a complaint with the data protection authority of your country.
